Just a quickie – here’s an interesting opportunity if you know about Bristol and specifically the Redcliffe area. A unique, collaborative public art project in this quarter of Bristol called Future Way, is looking for narrative short stories in 3-5 sections, each section relating to a place in Redcliffe.
The idea follows the success of the Bristol Story Trail earlier in the year (which I wrote a story for), by Dream of a Shadow, an online project bridging the gap between reality and fantasy through storytelling.
According to the blurb on the website: “Working with The Redcliffe Neighbourhood Development Forum, Future Way seeks to engage the people of Redcliffe and the wider community of Bristol through a playful and exciting exploration of the area using storytelling.
This is an amazing opportunity for published authors and budding writers in Bristol to collaborate with artists, architects and community groups in a first-of-its-kind, art project which challenges the way we view our city.”
So there you have it. To find out more visit the Future Way website. Deadline for stories is Monday 20th April.
